The Cure We Need

Nobody goes looking for a cure until he knows he has the disease — and the disease every man on earth has is sin. • Isaiah 1:5 — "the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint" — the disease in the passage is not physical, it is sin. • Romans 3:23 — "for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God"; you only look for a cure once you see your sin separates you from God. • The cure is not in your hands and not at the doctor's office — Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again the third day. • "Repent and believe the gospel" — trust what Jesus Christ did on the cross before you die in your sins. Scripture: Isaiah 1:5-6 · Romans 3:23 Faith Baptist Church is an independent Bible-believing Baptist church in Williston, Florida. We preach the Authorized King James Bible and sing the old hymns.
